Community Guidelines at Partake

At Partake, we value your diversity, integrity, and well-being. Our Community Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed on our platform and apply to all users, activities, and any content that you post. Off-platform behavior that affects this community may also be considered.

Violating these guidelines may result in a number of consequences including warnings; content removal; account suspension; and potentially involving law enforcement. Partake reserves the right to suspend any account at any time on our platform, for any conduct that we determine to be inappropriate or harmful.

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, please report it by submitting a ticket on our Discord server.

  1. Please don't make us make a rule. It is up to you to conduct yourself in a manner that you find acceptable, however, these are our guidelines and this is the type of culture we would like to foster in our community.

  2. Please try to resolve issues involving other organizers or individuals amongst yourselves. Partake is a neutral party and is not here to regulate or mediate. If you have an issue with another party - that does not encompass any points listed in the guidelines - please attempt to resolve this amongst yourselves. Bigotry will not be tolerated.

  3. Be respectful of other people and their beliefs. We all come from different walks of life and have a plethora of experiences, and beliefs. Albeit it is religious, political, etc. Please respect that others may have views that are different from yours.

  4. Keep all content safe-for-work. (Avatars, names, statuses, artwork, etc) While we understand that some events may be for mature audiences, please keep not-safe-for-work content out of the public eye.

  5. No advertising, DM ads or promoting of any kind.

  6. We discourage any sharing of personal information about yourself or others. While Partake values your privacy and safety, others may not feel the same way. Please try to protect yourself by keeping personal information shared to a minimum.

  7. Please do not break the law. Applicable to local, national, and international laws while using our services. Examples that Partake will not tolerate:

    • Physical and psychological harm of minors
    • Sexual exploitation and activity involving minors
    • Attempts or threats to physically threaten, intimidate, harm or kill others
    • Attempts or threats to hack, DDOS, or SWAT others

By submitting this event, you are agreeing to:

  1. Your event follows our community guidelines.
  2. You are the organiser of this event, or have permission from the organiser(s) to post this on their behalf.
  3. Any images used in promotional material are safe-for-work. 18+ NSFW images are prohibited.
  4. Ensure that this event is not posted more than once.
  5. Understand that in events designed for mature audiences, content may not be suitable for everyone.
  6. Have fun!

Content Guidelines

With content posted on Partake, it is crucial that we maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all users. Please make sure to label your event appropriately, and follow the guidelines below.

Images, Posters, and other Media

What do we strictly not allow

  • Full Nudity: Display of genitalia or female nipples.
  • Sexual Gestures: Gestures, poses or actions that mimic or imply sexual acts.
  • Prohibition of Hateful Imagery and Symbols: We firmly prohibit any content that includes or promotes hate symbols, imagery, or representations that advocate bigotry, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other identity factors. This stance is integral to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful online community.

What do we consider mature

  • Nudity:
    • Partial Nudity: Excessive exposure of the buttocks or breast area, even if not fully nude.
    • Implied Nudity: Images or content where nudity is covered by objects, hands, or other means, but it’s implied that the individual is nude.
  • Sexually Suggestive Poses:
    • Provocative Poses: Poses that imply sexual dances that can be performed fully clothed and/or emphasize sexualized body parts.
    • Suggestive Clothing: Outfits or costumes that are overly revealing and are primarily intended to sexualize the individual.
  • Sexual Acts: This includes any visual, textual, or auditory representation of sexual intercourse or similar activities. Explicit descriptions or depictions of sexual behaviour, whether fictional or real, fall under this category.
  • Drug or Alcohol Use: Guidelines on the portrayal of illegal drug use, drug paraphernalia, or the promotion of substance abuse.

Text, Titles, and Descriptions

What do we strictly not allow

  • Content Restrictions on Sensitive and Mature Themes: We strictly forbid any mention of gore, rape, explicit sexual details, and any mature-themed content involving children. This policy ensures a safe and respectful environment for all users.
  • Hate Speech: We do not tolerate any form of hate speech, including but not limited to, content that is derogatory towards any race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or identity.

What do we consider mature

  • Textual Content: Explicit sexual narratives, erotica, or graphic descriptions of sexual acts are included in this definition.

Policy Enforcement

  • Notification of Violation: In the event of a violation of our content policies, the content creator will be formally notified by Partake representatives. The notification will detail the nature of the violation and the specific content policy that has been breached.

  • Rectification Period: The content creator will be granted a rectification period of up to forty-eight (48) hours from the time of notification to address and correct the violation in their listing. If the event associated with the listing is scheduled to occur within this forty-eight-hour window, the rectification period will be adjusted to end at the commencement time of the event.

  • Consequences of Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with the required changes within the stipulated rectification period will result in the issuance of a strike against the content creator’s account. Upon accruing three (3) strikes, all future events listed by the creator will automatically be classified under the 'mature' category, which will include a visual 'blur effect', regardless of the original categorization of these events.

  • Handling of Prohibited Content: In cases where the content is deemed to be in severe violation of our strictly prohibited content categories, the post will be immediately removed from the platform. The content creator will be temporarily barred from making further submissions. This suspension will remain in effect until further review and communication with the creator has been conducted, to ensure understanding and compliance with our content guidelines.
